We all come
to bade mandir for Guruji’s blessings normally with our families on a fixed day
only once a week. This, we heard, was Guruji’s ordain as well.
So our
family fulfilled this command of Guruji and would come on every Saturday. One
Saturday my son who normally never misses this visit and ever enthusiastic for
coming to Bade Mandir for Sewa in Langar Prasad and hogging on Guruji’s Langar
Prasad, said that he does not want to come alongwith us as he wants to watch
Cricket Match. He would rather stay home alone.
I was not
feeling comfortable but did not push him to come along. Upon departure he told
us to bring Langar Prasad.
After Sangat
and sewa, at about 11 pm, we all three of us were sitting near Jal Prasad area
and my husband asked me how to get Langar Prasad for him. We were wondering
when langar Prasad distribution started. We were happy but Uncle crossed right
across us and distributed the rest of the Prasad and when he came back his
basket was exhausted and no prasaad…
We asked
uncle and he said Langar Prasad nahin hai. Sitting there suddenly Bahadur came.
Bahadur was said to have very good connectivity with Guruji and he used to be
everywhere in the Mandir and friends with all of us. We posed to him our query.
“Wait”, he said and went into the Kitchen. He came back with a packet of Langar
Prasad quite big and handed over to us. We thanked him and we told him it was
too much. He told us, “aap rakh lo, ye to mujhe Guruji ne 9 baje hi pack karne
ko kaha thaa”. Upon counting at home,
about 20 Chappati Prasad which all of us had in Lunch and never had to prepare
anything. If Langar Prasaad had been
less my son would never had shared with us – he would have Guruji’s Langar
prasaad over any of his favourite foods
prepared and served.
Yesterday night
again he missed temple, again for his favourite Cricket Match. I was sharing
this satsang with other Aunties at Bade Mandir and I got Kadi Prasad and dal
Prasad for him at 1 am when leaving from Mandir--even when all the Langar
Prasad was wrapped up and distributed and uncle told me no Prasad can be given
as he had none. One unlce gave me kadi Prasad and somebody gave my daughter dal
Prasad.
We all were
discussing how blessed he is to have Guruji taking care of him in this high
style. We are totally unaware how many more kalyans and blessings Guruji had given
him in solitude at home as well.
Jai Guruji
